week 11 [25 Oct 2009|07:07am] this has been a long week... i'm here because the neuroanatomy textbook has a way of making me want to throw up (blood) all over it. hahahaha. mon - ca! which i did spectacularly (badly) in. you know you're in the bottom percentile when 50% of your answers are right, and no one in the class failed. oh well, on an optimistic note... I PASSED ((: went out with maria after ca instead of going out with my og (lol) and had a wonderful time with XIAO LONG BAO!!! i was quite annoyed with fish&co though, because their chocolate cake wasn't molten...it was just, cake. tues - pedicure! i was still in a post-exam holiday mood (i still am!) so i went waxing/pedicure after school! hahaha, i love my toe nails they're so pretty (FRENCH MANICURE + RANDOM GLITTER THING THAT THE PEDICURIST OFFERED <3333) <3 <3 <3!! wed - rehearsal incidentally i had physio tutorial on wednesday, and i actually planned to finish typing out my tutorial after school...but i wasn't in the mood PLUS i had to rush off for rehearsals at ucc! (ahhhhh ucc brings back memories of dance night 08 <3!) the place still smelled the same (((: and the coolest thing was that we got tags labelled "artiste" hahahahahaha (i think we got tags last year too! i just didn't bother looking at the label then). thurs - icn!!! thursday i got the instructor i didn't like for driving....but strangely enough....he was actually quite nice!!! there was this really random part, when i was stuck at the traffic light for 2 red lights (since all the learner drivers in front of me took 10000 years to turn when the light turned green....hahaha i'm like that too!), and he pointed at some yong tau fu van next to me and asked me what i liked the most (i said samosa!), and he asked why not fishball...and then the traffic light turned green andddd shumin called so i dragged her from ntu to nus to watch ke internal cultural night with me!! haha, honestly i didn't really watch the performances!! but it was awesome catching up with her again...and i realise that there are quite a number of people i know staying in keVII! and and and yanling's performance was SOOOOO NICEEEE.....i'm so proud of my counsellor who choreo-ed the item! fri - sickkk ): i was sick on friday but i came to school briefly cos i needed to pass someone something. i then went home and collapsed on my bed again, and then training again at night. sat - rehearsal + sports awards LOOOONG day *phew* went to school in the morning for playhouse rehearsal! hahaha, i'm calefare-ing in lots of random scenes ("walk in 10 seconds after the lights come on") but better than nothing i guess!  and then there was sports awards performance! the 2nd run through was actually the best ever!!! and we were all so high after that (quote annie: "that was the best EVER!")...after that we had LOADS of time to just slack around and kope food from the ucc foyer (: we were like underdressed uncivilised people amongst all the guests and award recipients...who were wearing ties and office wear etc....and we grabbed the nachos/sandwiches like we haven't eaten for the past 100 years the actual performance didn't go TOO WELL ): but my friend who was watching it said that it was...actually quite nice although our "actions weren't very crisp/sharp...not like in bring it on"... but we all had fun (CAMWHORING!) and it was a wonderful experience! post-performance was dinner at vivo and htht and people talking nonsense (: haha, never realised that i could have so much fun with everyone else! now that we're taking a break from training ))): i realise i'll miss everyone else...especially my group!! )): but oh well, there's camp on 7 dec (which, incidentally, is the date of my second ca). sun - i'm staring at a neuroanatomy textbook. more specifically, i'm staring at a diagram on page 203...which has all these random abbreviations i don't understand haha. 2 click

[24 Sep 2009|12:30pm]  just had driving this morning and spent most of the morning chopping my textbook and binding the chapters separately. i really suck at driving ))): lesson this morning was made worse by the fact that it was POURING. and you have no idea how scary it is for a rookie like me to travel at anything beyond 20km/h (hahaha yes i'm noob) when there was rain. hahaha, at the rate i'm going, i'm actually going to need like 50 lessons to pass anything. *SIGH* bahh sleepy! 2 click
